Good questions. Honest answers.

  • Don’t worry, most of my clients haven’t either. We’ll start with a conversation about your space, what you want from it, and what isn’t working (or is quietly driving you mad).

From there I create a design that brings clarity, fixes the chaos and makes the space feel calmer and easier to live or work in.

  • Homes you can live in without shouting “don’t touch that.” I design family spaces that feel beautiful, intentional and pulled together - but still real.

Kids, pets, busy routines… I design for all of it, creating warm, practical and quietly stylish interiors that work for everyday life.

  • I’m based in Bury St Edmunds and work across Suffolk and the surrounding counties.

For projects further afield - including London - I’m happy to offer full in-person services, with travel costs charged where applicable. My e-design service is also available UK-wide for clients who don’t require site visits.

  • I’m typically booked around 2-3 months in advance. For renovations or new builds, early involvement is ideal - working alongside your architect or builder helps ensure the best outcome.

  • Absolutely. I often work with clients’ existing furniture. We’ll keep what works, introduce what’s needed, and bring it all together so the space feels refreshed -not replaced - and still very much like home.

  • I focus on longevity and quality rather than trends. That means designing spaces and specifying materials intended to last, re-using existing pieces where possible, and helping clients invest thoughtfully rather than replacing things unnecessarily.

I’m always mindful of the environmental impact of design decisions and continue to look for ways my studio can do better.

  • Timelines vary depending on the scope of the project and current workload. A single room design typically takes around 3–4 weeks, while whole home projects take longer.

I’ll keep you informed throughout. Final installation timelines depend on supplier lead times - and while I’m efficient, I can’t speed up a back-ordered sofa. Most furniture is typically 6–8 weeks from order.

  • Yes. For full-service projects, I can manage ordering, checking, delivery coordination and installation on your behalf.

For services like e-design, clients typically handle ordering and deliveries themselves. I’ll always be clear about what’s included, so you know exactly what to expect.

  • This happens all. the. time in this industry. Consider me the diplomatic third party - keeping the peace and merging styles so decisions are made calmly, without unnecessary stress.

  • No - I work across a range of project sizes and budgets, and I offer different levels of support to suit each one.

I’ll always help you spend smart: where to invest, where to save, and where the £££ doesn’t matter at all. If a particular service isn’t the right fit for your project, I’ll guide you towards one that is.

  • An interior designer works on the whole picture - layout, lighting, storage, finishes and furniture - not just cushions and candles.
I fix how a space functions first, then focus on how it looks and feels.
