JENNA BASFORD

Fourteen years+ experience working in the interior design world. Prior to that 6 years of art and design education. An interior design BA degree to top it off. From art school sketches to high end interiors, I’ve spent many years refining my skills - balancing creativity with the practical, the dreamy with the doable.

It all started fresh out of uni - Design Admin, Senior Designer’s Assistant, Store Manager for Paint & Paper, Colour Consultant. Absorbing, learning, evolving. Eventually I stepped into an Interior CAD Designer role in Cambridge, then progressed into a Senior Designer, shaping high end interiors with care and intention.

And then? Life, in all its wild, wonderful unpredictability threw me a (beautiful) curveball. Two back-to-back babies. A moment of pause. A whole lot of change, a full heart, a shift in perspective. A nudge (or a shove) towards building something of my own. So here we are, my time to go solo - my own design studio. Born from experience, intuition and the need to balance passion with the beautiful chaos of family life.

I keep my prices affordable because I don’t have a fancy studio or a team of assistants. So instead of funding overheads when you work with me, you’re investing in a space that works - and yes, also helping keep the Wi-Fi and lights on, sustaining my daughter’s Peppa Pig empire and supporting my totally under control chocolate addiction (purely for creative energy, of course).

And to my clients and their families - past, present, future - thank you for letting me continue to do what I love - crafting interiors that feel effortless, personal, alive. For trusting me with your spaces, your stories. This wouldn’t exist without you.
