JENNA BASFORD

I’ve spent over fifteen years working in the interior design world, supported by a BA (Hons) in Interior Design and a background in art and design education. Over time I’ve refined a way of working that balances creativity with practicality - the dreamy with the doable.

My career began behind the scenes, learning the industry from the ground up. From studio roles and colour consultancy to senior designer positions, I’ve had the privilege of shaping high-end interiors with care, intention, and a deep respect for how spaces are actually used.

Then life stepped in - in the best possible way. With three children, and two arriving just eleven months apart, there was a pause, a shift in perspective, and eventually the nudge to build something of my own. My studio grew from that moment: grounded in experience, guided by intuition, and shaped around real life.

Today I work across private homes, restaurants and show properties - bringing a calm, clear process to each project and helping clients make confident decisions without unnecessary overwhelm.

I work independently by choice. It allows me to stay closely involved, thoughtful and hands-on - offering the same professionalism and peace of mind as a larger studio, without unnecessary layers.

And yes, working with me also helps keep the Wi-Fi on, sustain my daughter’s Peppa Pig empire and support my totally under control chocolate addiction (purely for creative energy, of course).
